Experience content Nowadays, baths that use electricity, gas, and oil to heat water have become mainstream. Here, however, bath water is heated by burning firewood or using sunlight.
Baths that are heated using firewood are said to be different in the way it warms up the body. It warms up the body's core, and the warmth remains even after the bath.
Different from pressing a button to heat the bath water, although chopping firewood and burning it to heat water is a lot of work, it is also a valuable experience to have.

Experience content "Taste Studio Akatsuki" is an agricultural processing group run by local friends, in which Mr. and Mrs. Iwata are active members.
It is about 5 minutes from Grandma's Home "Mae". Here, you can experience making regional miso.
You will make miso by mixing salt, koji, and soybeans. You can also see the process as well as the making of koji.
We may also accept those who wish to be involved in the whole process of making miso throughout the year, from making ingredients such as soybeans and koji, and want to try cultivating rice and soybeans as an owner.

Experience content Like in the old days, shitake planting is done by planting fungus in logs from wood thinning, which provides adequate conditions for shitake to grow.
Although it depends on the tree size and climate, it takes 3-4 years to cultivate shitake. Its seasonal flavors can be enjoyed in the spring and fall of each year.
Harvested shitake are suitable for tempura, stew, nabe, and any other cuisine. Grilling the thick shitake by itself is also delicious.
It is a healthy food, rich in fiber and vitamins.
Please enjoy the fun of cultivating thick, juicy shitake yourself and harvesting them.
