Kanagicho Oguni is an area with a peaceful rural landscape. As you travel down the mountain path, you will see "Inkyo," which has a picturesque Japanese garden.
You will be greeted by a Shigaraki raccoon ornament at the gate beside the signboard of the residence. Inside the vast premises of this residence, there is a landscaped garden where you can find a waterfall and a pond with carps. The peripheries of the house are also animated by the colors of seasonal flowers.
You can enjoy this scenery even if you are indoors, and although this is a private residence, the experience of staying here somehow feels like lodging at a ryokan.
Mr. Tsukamoto had returned to Kanagicho after spending some time living in Hiroshima. Everything from the cultivation of rice and Pione wine grapes around the house to the maintenance of the garden is carried out on his own.
You can learn about various things from the owner such as sightseeing spots in the vicinity, and spend an enjoyable time here. Visitors are also welcome during seasonal events and festivities.
The two adorable dogs at the residence are also looking forward to making you feel at home. Don't miss this chance to experience a graceful rural lifestyle.
