A rare species of mushroom, "Tamagodake"

Near the Hamada Dam, you will find a traditional residence called "Namechanchi" deep in the valley where you might feel like you have lost your way. Local members are engaged in exciting activities here. The hands-on experiences offered here include miso-making, wreath-making, harvesting sweet potatoes, as well as a package where you can cook and enjoy lunch. There is also a popular activity where you can make kokedama (ornamental moss balls) using wildflowers that grow in the mountains. You will first plant your favorite flowers into the soil and roll the soil into a ball before covering it with moss and securing it with a string. This activity also allows you to chat with fellow participants and have an enjoyable time.

Let your hands do the work while you chat and enjoy yourself.

Create handicrafts while immersing yourself in the spirit of the season.

Wrap up the peat moss before covering it with green moss.
