Rice planting experience at a natural farm under the azure sky

人のご縁も旅のつながり。

A rice-planting experience at the paddy fields of Miyuki Farm while getting yourself dirty.

The Shussai area of Izumo City where "Tamachi House" can be found is an area where you will find wide expanses of peaceful countryside.
Here, you can visit Shussai kilns in the vicinity and enjoy a walk while attending a photography lecture by Ms. Tomoko Mishina, a photographer who is an affiliate of this program, and enjoy the unique landscape of Izumo.
You can also visit Miyuki Farm where the rare rice cultivar Isehikari found only in Izumo and Ise is produced under pesticide-free conditions. Here, you can experience natural agricultural activities such as rice-planting in spring and harvesting in fall. You can also enjoy a culinary experience that will give your body the boost it needs through dishes with generous servings of delicious local vegetables and the perfect seasoning.

The rice balls are delicious!

Today's special activity

After rice-planting, take a break with the farmers and enjoy a bento with plenty of vegetables.
