The beautiful terraced rice fields in Sannoji, Daito-cho, Unnan have been included among Japan's Top 100 Terraced Rice Fields, and their seasonal scenery is popular. The hands-on experiential facility Boken no Mori Tenba overlooks the terraced rice fields. "Tenba" is written with the characters "天場" on the number plate. Although the house, passed down for 28 generations, has the longest history in the Sannoji district, it became unoccupied. It opened in 2016 as a hands-on experiential facility, based on the owner's desire to make use of the house as a place for people to gather.

In one section of the facility are the cultivated fields Tanada Biotope and Makomo. As the area uses no pesticides or chemical fertilizers, many creatures inhabit the area, including endangered species. The location is also undertaking cultivation and commercialization (sixth sector industry) of makomo wild rice, a grass that appears in the Izumo Fudoki chronicle and in which gods are said to reside.

This facility offers the following sort of experiential events throughout the year.
・ You can experience cooking rice with firewood and making meals using the kamado cauldron. (April to November)
 ・ Makomo planting experience (May)
・ Makomo grass harvesting experience (late September to early October)
・ Makomo shimenawa rope-making experience (December)
・ Natural survey at the biotope (April to November)
・ Giant water bug foster parent project (April to November)

The open space (formerly a rice terrace) can also be used as a concert venue.
Workshops on the theme of sixth sector industrialization utilizing local resources are also held.
